E: helen, i’m posting this here for you — i am trying to figure out if this kind of light fixture i have in my apartment can use a replacement bulb or if i need a whole new light: http://lightingbygregory.com/lighting/product/ll-9170wh.html
this can be the next episode in the mini-series
H: you obviously have to buy brand new $150 light fixtures, evan!
E: actually my landlord will have to buy them
they got me a replacement a couple years ago right after i moved in, but i didn’t realize how much it costs
or actually, i think it was an additional one, not a replacement
either way, i was going to just get a new bulb for it so i didn’t have to deal w/ that (aka email them and pick it up downstairs) but now it appears that might be impossible
so, as you can see, helen, it’s a serious issue
H: pretty sure that thing that says “lamp type” is the kind of lightbulb you need.
but you’re right, it’s serious. $11 for a dozen lightbulbs is no joke.
E: nice!
helen, nice work
you are really outperforming on this show
buying 12 of these seems crazy, so far i have used 2 of them in 2.5 years
but certainly a better deal than $150/light!
H: does this make me the hero of this episode of the mini-series?
E: yes!
H: yay!
E: helen, in your professional opinion, will these work too http://www.amazon.com/USHIO-FL36-MR16-light-bulb/dp/B00026K7A0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=133411
H: it certainly seems that way. i mean, just look at the product description.
E: i only understand about half of it
H: it is simply put, evan.
E: ok we’re going to go with these
they will be delivered faster
helen, you were a star today
2 of my 3 light bulbs are burned out
so this was really a crucial performance
H: i’m so relieved!
E: me too
it’s getting dark in here
