about 3 weeks ago one of the smoke detectors in my apartment started beeping every minute or two, based on some googling that seems to mean it’s dusty inside
it’s been beeping ever since

CO detectors are usually plugged into outlets, very rarely (never) built into apartment buildings, and definitely not built so high.

just before you go playing with a knife… do check the wording beside that plug… White = Neutral.. just make sure it’s not a 110V plug.. I know the Australian ones sometimes do have mains on it…
